We also represented affected residents’ concerns to the University, resulting in the integration of noise reduction, landscape buffering, and other protection measures into the expansion plans. We provided them with an objective scenario of the proposed mixed-use development and its impacts. Our successful work with stakeholders and the public to resolve land use matters helped the Township address some of these challenges. RETTEW’s planning staff offered unique perspectives to the Township, drawing upon our experience in developing plans and ordinances in both the private and public sectors. ![]() Residents were concerned about traffic, noise, and privacy. A second matter involved a university’s campus expansion and its impacts to residents. ![]() The Township wanted an impartial opinion of the maximum build-out under its current zoning ordinance. Challenges included opposition from a competing developer and accommodating increased density while minimizing traffic. First was a proposal to redevelop a key site along I-476 into a mixed-use development. Radnor Township needed a consultant to assist with multiple planning issues.
